Christian joined Gryphon in 2021 as a Quantitative Investment Analyst. He is responsible for developing Gryphon’s risk models, analytics, and portfolio management tools.
Christian has over 12 years’ experience in various quantitative markets roles, including Portfolio Manager at Queensland Investment Corporation, Quantitative Analyst at both Suncorp Investment Management and Macquarie Bank, and Principal Quantitative Risk Specialist at Ergon Energy. In these roles he developed quantitative investment models, systems for automated execution, as well as portfolio risk and performance attribution systems. Christian is also experienced in large-scale software development, with experience at companies including Caterpillar and Boeing Australia.
Christian holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science from Queensland University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons 1st class) from UNSW. His academic work has been published in the journals Development and BMC Developmental Biology.
